If you 3D Touch call from an Phone app, fun stuff happens — Our iPhones have quite a few amazing features, and Apple probably hasn’t had the time to tell us about all of them. The 3D Touch feature is one of those things that’s so deeply engrained into iOS now that Apple doesn’t talk about it much. Sometimes a new action will appear seemingly out of nowhere. For example, type in a number in the Phone app and then 3D Touch the green Dial button. 3D Touch springs into action. When you 3D Touch call from the Phone app, you get new quick actions. You can call that number normally or place a FaceTime Video or Audio call to it. And there’s more

Apple offers free 3-year repair for iPad Smart Keyboard — Apple is offering a new three-year service policy for its Smart Keyboard iPad accessory. Workflow won an Apple Design Award in 2015.
The app has been sold at the Apple App Store for US$2.99; however, Apple made it free.

Apple Watch wants you to walk/run/roll 1 mile on Mother’s Day — Apple’s next Activity challenge will be Mother’s Day, when you’ll be able to earn an Apple Watch badge for walking, running, or wheelchairing a mile or more. 9to5Mac uncovered a reference to the challenge, as well as images of the badge you’ll be able to get.
