Rapidly-growing Apple Music tops 17 million subscribers — In spite of only launching a little over a year ago, Apple Music has already exceeded 17 million subscribers, Apple announced at its Sept. 7 press event. (Spotify has 39 million paid Premium subscribers.)
XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack isout now on the Mac App Store — The XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack is now available at the Mac App Store. Owners of the NZ$74.99/US$49.99 strategy game XCOM 2 can now upgrade their XCOM army and play new narrative-based missions with the Reinforcement Pack, now available as an in-app purchase. The Reinforcement Pack comprises three themed DLC packs: Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters and Shen’s Last Gift, and introduces over 100 exotic armor customisations, adds two exciting missions, four new alien Ruler enemies, and a brand new soldier class, complete with new upgradable weapons and armor. The three DLC packs are also available to buy separately as in-app purchases.
3D scanner and software comes to the Mac— Fuel3D, a 3D capture and imaging company, has updated its Fuel3D Studio software. In addition to several new features, the software is now available for OS X, making SCANIFY, the company’s high speed 3D scanner, available to Mac users for the first time. The US$1490 SCANNIFY is a handheld, point-and-shoot 3D scanner that captures high-resolution, colour 3D models of objects in in under 0.1 seconds.
