New aerial shot shows Apple Campus construction underway — Construction on Apple’s new spaceship campus is well underway and even in its current state is something to behold. Thanks to some slick drone flying, we can see just how far along the project is, and it’s looking pretty cool.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel hitting Mac Oct 14, same day at consoles and PC — Developer Aspyr has announced it will release the highly anticipated Mac version of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Oct 14th, the same day the title hits PCs and consoles. More importantly, the Mac version will launch with all of the same features as the PC, including DLC updates and cross-platform multiplayer.
You can pre-order the game already through GameAgent, and the title will become available on the Mac App Store on October 16. (Image from the Game Agent site – there are others to check out).
Twitter remembers it has an OS X app, updates it for the first time in 10 months — The social network client had a half-dozen updates throughout the length of 2013, and zero treatment so far in 2014. Today’s update changes that, bringing it to version 3.1 and finally adding the same support for multiple photos that the mobile versions of Twitter have had for many months. Top staff movements at Apple — Vanity Fair last month reported Apple had hired famed designer Marc Newson to join Jony Ive’s highly respected and ridiculously secretive industrial design team. But Newson’s role within Apple isn’t a full time gig; meanwhile Apple PR veteran Steve Dowling has been named interim communications chief.
